Bad Weather Policy
Bad Weather Policy
Weather is an important element in any outdoor photography experience, especially in a city like Rome where light and atmosphere play a key role in the final result.
At the same time, flexibility is always part of the experience to ensure you can book without stress.
Flexibility & Rescheduling
Whenever possible, I keep flexibility in the days surrounding your scheduled session.
Unless fully booked during your travel dates, this allows us to reschedule the photo tour in case of unfavorable weather conditions, such as heavy rain or storms.
The goal is always to ensure the best possible experience and visual outcome.
Light Rain & Cloudy Conditions
Not all weather conditions require rescheduling.
- Light rain can still allow the session to take place, often creating a unique and cinematic atmosphere
- Cloudy skies are generally not an issue and can provide soft, diffused light that is very flattering for portraits
In many cases, these conditions can actually enhance the mood and elegance of the final images.
Severe Weather Conditions
In case of:
- heavy rain
- thunderstorms
- extreme or unsafe conditions
the session will be rescheduled to the previous or next available suitable time, based on mutual availability.
Decision Timing
Weather conditions are monitored closely in the days leading up to the session.
A final decision regarding rescheduling is typically made 24-48 hours before the shoot, or sooner if conditions are clearly unfavorable.
Important Note
While flexibility is always prioritized, rescheduling depends on overall availability during your stay in Rome.
For this reason, it is always recommended to plan the photo tour early in your trip, leaving room for possible adjustments if needed.
